I haven't contacted them cos I assume they had loads already. My last count 6 people could view my tree that I never gave permission to, it's funny how it's the people who tried to find a connection with my tree and we established there wasn't. Great value for money, the service well what can I say!!! catherine xx |

I reckon we should bombard GR with emails about the situation. At the end of the day, we're the ones that do all the research on here for our trees and to have info being shared willy nilly is a flipin liberty!! |

Having read the thread on TIPS, I didn't write to GR as loads of others had done so and been ignored. Am busy dismantling my GR tree back to the bare skeleton. I don't give a hoot about losing out on Hot Matches, privacy is more important. Karen |

Im gutted, all my trees I had permission to view have dissapeared, I can cope with that but one of those trees was a tree of a realitive that was opened to me just before she passed away (She had been doing her tree for over 20 years and it was quite large).....I will never be able to have access to that tree again. Im so upset as I didn't copy any of it. I have not had an email back from GR yet and I emailed them yesterday afternoon. |

I seem to be able to access 100's of trees that have been shared which aint not right. Have checked my contacts and it appears that only the ones I have given permission to can view mine. I have sent an email to GR because I do not think it is right to give me access to all and sundry - no offence meant on the sundry bit. Await a reply - for ever hopeful................ Love Mary xx |
