Proud of My Daughter.

A 6/7 month old kitten walked into my daughters house yesterday about 4pm and made herself at home even though my daughter has 2 dogs and 4 cats. My daughter rang me last night about 8pm to ask if the supermarket near me was open so that she could get a litter tray/litter for this poor little kitten. My daughters neighbour told my daughter that the kitten had been sleeping in the shed in her garden for the last 3 weeks but her husband had now put a lock on the shed door to stop the kitten going in the shed. My daughter rang the Cats Protection League this morning to ask if anyone had reported a lost kitten in her area and the lady told her no. My daughter is now looking after the kitten as a foster mum because the CPL said that their cattery is nearly full and the kitten may not like being with other cats. They think she maybe pregnant and have booked an appointment for the vets tomorow at 4-10pm to either confirm she is pregnant and have a health check. The vet is going to arrange to neuter the kitten after the check up and if she is pregnant the CPL will pay for all the vets bills until the kittens are old enough to go to decent homes which will be chosen by the CPL. Bless all animal lovers to are foster mums to animals including our own Toothfairy. Suexxxxxx

I had a young cat adopt me years ago when I was pregnant and already had two cats. She lived with us for 16 years bless her. I hope the little cat your daughter is caring for is well, and hopefully not pregnant, so she can be spayed and found a happy new home where she can stay for lift. How kind your daughter is to take her in. Not impressed with the neighbour tho, not very charitable were they? Liz

Oh Sue, just seen this..... I'm so pleased the kitten found it's way to your family - they just seem to know the good homes :-) If your daughter needs any more help with kitten let me know (i'll be at the adel cattery/kennels all weekdays) I have been trying with the CPL to trace a mother cat and her two kittens - she is semi ferral and lives in the Clayton woods, some kids found her kittens and took three, but there are still two unaccounted for- poor mites...I've been going up there daily, i dread to think how they're coping in all this rain!? Anyway, you know where i am, and thankyou for the mention :-))) LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
