Thank you Jean and Joy but *** stamps foot *** No I am not sending him a card because he says on mothers day' Your not my Mother ' He is not my Father ( god bless my dad ) ... The kids are old enough to get him something...and i am sure they have when they appear ...lol AND last year I got him one of them all dancing things that you put in the car and tells you when your near a speed camara... |

I can never understand why wives/husbands who have kids think they have to send a Mother/Fathers Day card to their spouse. I dont send my wife one and I don't expect her to send me one - I'm not her father. I even cooked todays Sunday lunch |

My mother always said mothers day was on 24 Sept (her birthday) and fathers day on 6 Sept (dads birthday). Unfortunately in NZ the commercial fathers day came about 6 Sept and when we bought him a birthday present the shop always wanted to put a fathers day card with it. It made mum most irate. For me mothers day is in Jan and fathers day too, since OH and I both have our birthdays then. Mum always said if we couldnt remember her on her birthday she didnt want to be remembered to order by the commercial firms. |
