I was lucky to see them in 1992 at Roundhay Park in Leeds. It cost £25 then. They are my favourite band though. Humph and its on a sunday night. Double humph.

Im going!!!! I booked tickets the day they went on sale, and I think they sold out really quickly. I think I got them at £60, plus booking fee, and that was the cheaper tickets. Quite expensive, but well worth it I think. I have seen adverts on the net to buy them, but I think they'll be even more expensive again?

what with the travel and accommodation it would be a hefty trip l think lol. Mind you I heard they are going to be on a charity gig on the telly along with Madonna. So probably will have to settle for that unless I can win a competition for tickets or something!

I went to loads of concerts in the early 90's but haven't been to any really since so was really shocked to see the prices now. How are they justified being that high? Is it pure greed from the performers?

Penny, You wouldn't normally pay those sort of prices, I recon £40 is about average, maybe a bit cheaper. Ive got to agree, they are extremely overpriced. However, I am an extreme Genesis fan and Im quite young (only 26!), so was too young to see them before they split. For me, it was a must to go and see them, I wouldn't miss it for the world!!

how can they justify the prices.????? Hubby was interested although he prefers first line up but he wouldnt pay the prices. thought that when we saw Clapton that that was overpriced and they were £45 and he couldnt manage to play the whole concert had a young lad playing a lot for him. £60 is more than y hubby earns a day
