How do you all do it? Seriously need to know how to switch off and not let stress get the better of me. All suggestions welcome and will be tried!! Love Caz xxxx

Lots of rum and coke lolol No seriously Caz - about 7 years ago I suffered with stress - i found a yoga class specifically for stress sufferers - i used to come out so chilled i hardly remembered the drive home :O))

Hi Carol :):) If you get chance, maybe look up a local Tai Chi club, better still go along to one of the classes and see relaxation in action. Soft gentle excercise combined with breathing for relaxation, self defence without the pain all in one. Age ranges these days from Youngsters like us :) even much younger :) upwards. Colin :):)

Thanks Colin, that sounds so relaxing, I will see if there are local classes, |Mike sounds good too, wine helps me chill when alone but can cause probs too!! Caz xxx

Mike, Snap :):):) Qigong ( Chi Kung ) is the breathing associated with Tai Chi also, although can be practiced as a separated class Colin :):)

I have water noises, i got them in normal record shops, but did learn how to breath properly....Atlantis is a good tape/CD

a long soak in a full hot bubble bath with lots of aromatherapy oils and a good book if its in the evening take a glass of wine with ya for extra destress

Thanks Donna, Ive learnt over the years that breathing is the key to controlling stress and not taking enough oxygen in is a key factor, Where are your tapes from Donna? Caz xxx

Straykitten ta!! my bath is waiting and has been for over an hour lol, have the wine got the bubbles, now need to block the house out lol Donna are water sounds supposed to link to sounds in the womb to relax us,? I'm sure most of us are chilled by water sounds,can you let me have names etc? Caz xxx

Oh McAnne, tried yoga once and to be honest found it more stressful than relaxing. pmsl. Mind the fact that I went with one of my sisters and my Mum would probably explain. It's a story that truly can't be told in full but lets just say we did more laughing than relaxing in the true sense of the word. To answer thou to really relax I find a quite spot and read a mindless novel, something that doesn't require any deep thinking or analysing. lolol
