I signed up for continuous membership about a year ago, but on my home page it says 'Renew now'. Do I just ignore it? Or risk paying twice?

you get a reminder your subs are due again about a month before they expire. If you renew now they will run from the expiry date of this years subs Shirley

Thanks for your reply Shirley, but I assumed that as I have continuous membership, it would just be renewed automatically.

no they still send the reminder but will use your C/C details from the last time . if you have changed your C/C you can go into your a/c now and change the details. They wont renew automatically cos you may not want to renew. Hopefully!! cos there seems to be different prices they charge you may get it at £7.50 or you may get charged £9.95 but it should be for twelve months. Shirley

Fiona Just a thought... Have you checked 'My Account Details' just to make sure you are continous :) Personally after all the problems that have been aired on here I no longer have a continous membership registered. My sub ran out two days ago and for the last two/three weeks I have been reminded to renew every time I came onto the site. As you can tell I renewed without problem, Wednesday, and paid no more than I would have done as a continous subscriber! I think the only problem with my way of doing things would be if you are an irregular signer in..........If your membership expires and you don't renew within two?? weeks you have to pay the same for 6 months membership as you could have done for a year! I'm still registered with continuous payment and, when I tried to renew just now, my payment was declined. So I think I'll just wait and see what happens when I try to log on after 25 May!
