I agree you have to be careful Teresa, and make sure those things don't leak or get covered over, but then you have to be careful with many things, leaving a mirror or an aerosol of hair spray or deodorant etc in the sun can cause a fire, just felt it a shame if people were throwing away the air fresheners as they aren't cheap. Do you get little one to cuddle Bob to sleep? the lavender should hurry him off to dreamland!

We left an aerosol in the conservatory once when we went away for a week, came home to a hole in the venetian blinds across the top of the conservatory. The can had exploded and gone right through the blind. Our neighbour had cleared up the mess for us. Ann Glos

I once put a teddy bear on top of a lamp without thinking. Luckily my sister went upstairs and noticed it smouldering. Poor teddy had a scorched bottom. Tina
