l have planted loads of Sunflower seeds!!!! last year l bought 3 plants and they grew to 14ft and everyone said they would try and beat that!!!! This year l have about 30 seedlings and l'm going to put them on my garden wall at 25p each - they may get pinched but if not l will save it towards Stephens CRY memorial, it won't be much but every little helps. Just wondered if any one else felt like doing it. To keep the slugs away - sprinkle a circle of sawdust or sand or grit round the stem(about 3-4 ' from stem if poss), they hate that - but keep it topped up, no gaps to the circle!! Good luck:o))......jude xx |

Fantastic idea - very clever - nobody will pinch them cos Stephen will watch over them - strange or what - I have a photo of Stephen standing next to a Sun flower in my garden that my Grandaughter grew - bless you. |
