It seemed to me that the dogs enjoyed the things they did, and after all, sheepdogs are trained to round up sheep and that is just as much a 'trick' as those the dogs on the programme are learning, in a very much shorter time than it usually takes to train a dog. Some have been adopted by their new handlers, and the others will find new homes. It also reminds people there are other dogs who need homing and so I think it is a good programme. The commitment those people have put in to working with the dogs has been brilliant, even tho they will have been paid, the love and fun they have brought to the dogs that were previously just waiting around for new homes, is great. |

From what I picked up dogs stayed in kennels but were taken out for training etc - one or two were taken for a weekend but believe they were the ones who were adopted. Those dogs who were not adopted by celebs will be adopted soon given their 'tv exposure time' and hopefully a lot more who are in kennels. We have one here nearly 15 adopted from Blue Cross as an 8wk puppy - mother was picked up with a litter of 8 pups 4 weeks old. Problem would not be so bad if it were made law for dogs and cats to be neutered and implanted with identifcation. Ours was neutered at 6 months - just an injection at that age. |

Chris I agree with you totally but surely it is wrong to take a dog in, train it, give it hope - and then give it away |

Sorry Errol I do not agree with you and at least 3 of the celebs have adopted 'their dog' the others - either their life style does not suit, e.g. one girl has three children under 5, Selina already has 2 large dogs - Responsibility is the name of the game - had the original owners been responsible these dogs would not require rehoming. |

lol Ms Carrot Tammy they turned 'abandonned dogs' ( I don't actually believe that) into performing circus horses and that is basically wrong to any animal lover |

These B celebs are asking us to take a dog that has no home currently - they have bonded with them so why do they not take them? |
