About 12000 as we like plenty of days out and a 300 mile round trip is about par for the course. We also visit son and family in Scotland - a round trip of 500 miles. Only got a 1000cc 02 Yaris but a brilliant motor and 50mpg at least on a long trip provided I'm not doing an exceedingly good 70mph. Even if you dont cover many miles a year make sure you at least have the oil changed as per the handbook but preferably every 6 months and do do a fast run every so often to burn some muck of the engine components

Hi Ronald, I do a bit of motorway driving and am not averse to putting my foot down Joy, I have always fancied a chauffeur driven stretch limo, and if I ever win the lottery I may treat myself to one. Men in uniforms ;-)) Dee x
