This is to get bullfighting stopped In Catalonia In Northern Spain, Its already banned In Barcelona. The Anti-Bullfighting campaign is growing so fast. Barcelona Is 100% bull-fighting free,which to me shows just how cultured that city is. Hi Sheila,Your spot on:-)) The younger generation are the ones that are mostly anti,which is good:-)) but I have met several Older Spaniards who are very anti,my hope lies with the younger generation. It will eventually become a thing of the past,Im sure. Roxanne x

Hi Roxanne - How do the Spanish feel about bullfighting? Is opinion split, I would imagine that the younger generation would be more 'anti', or is it more of a regional thing? Do many tourists go to bullfights these days? I find it an interesting subject (btw, I loathe the idea and would never go to one!) Sheila x

Thanks Joy:-))x Sheila, sorry I didnt answer all your question. Tourists still go unfortunatly:-(, I think mainly out of curosity,which does not help the cause. If people kept away,it would be a thing of the past much quicker

Hi.. i had a very heated conversation with a portuguese friend of mine on this subject last year.... he is only 32 and stands his ground that it is what he was brought up with and he sees no wrong in it. I argued this.. and he then said to me about my love of boxing????? My gawd did he argue! I gave up in the end........... going to signx

Thanks Hayley:-)) There will always be people who still think this is ok,and their right to torture animals in the name of 'sport'. Thank goodness alot are seeing it for just what it is'torture' and belongs in the dark ages,not the 21st century!
