Im trying to set this up on my new computer but Im still not recieving e-mails...thankfully iv still got the old computer running so i can check for mail on this, My e-mail address is the same so i dont know what im doing wrong.. can anyone help?

often sending one to yourself will open it,,,,,,,,,,just type your own email addy into a create new mesg and send,,,,,,,,,,,

You can view your Es on your new computer via your ISP Webmail. I always view mine on there first as can then trash to my ISPs trash box thus saving space on PC. The personal details you gave your new(?) ISP represent your main E addy for both ISP Webmail and Outlook on your new PC. However, if you are using the same ISP for old and new PC could this be part of the problem? When you set up new PC did you comply with all the instructions on the ISP software disc? Hope this helps. Hi Clarie, to set up mail in outlook express, go to tools and click accounts click mail tab, click add and select mail. The wizard will start, type in your name then click next enter your email address then click next. leave the my incoming mail server is pop3 server drop down box as pop3. in incoming mail server enter pop.(your isp.com all lower case. in outgoing mail(smtp) server enter, smtp.(isp).com all lower case no spaces. in the account name box enter the first part of your @ whoever email address (everything before the @ sign) in the password box enter the password for your isp email account then click next click finish your server may require authentication box to be ticked in the properties of the mail tab. hope this helps dave
