Oooooooo Joy. I thought it was just me !!! He's lovely isn't he !!! Hope your hair grows back soon - bet it looks better than you think it does though. I have had some things done to my hair which I have thought were awful but good friends (who WOULD tell me the truth) have said look lovely. I once had to wear my hair up for six months in the early stages of my relationship with my now husband because of a disaster perm but it didn't put him off me !!!!!!!! I have a round ish face too. Means you will look younger for longer xx

my worst hair cut was when I let a student do mine for model rats. She spent almost an hour scraping the metal comb across one of my ears trying to cut the hair the same as the other side never again

Joy, just got back from my model session and again, such a good cut, I am happy. I could have it coloured too for about a fiver, but as I usually do it myself with a permanent one, and am happy with the colour, I don't bother. Might get it done there in future if my shoulder doesn't improve as it was hard work last week reaching round the back. Have you a college nearby where you could go, or see if one of the hairdressers in town need models. Liz

Gerri,a tanner was half of a shilling (old money) or 6 old pennies, the new money would be two and a half pence. God I'm showing me age here. Lol

Thank you gerri for your kind comment, but you can't see me. It is even worse this morning. Liz, you are getting a bargain, and if your happy with your hair cut as well, even more of a bargain. I am afraid I paid more than £40 as I had colour as well (that turned out well). Hoping for an improvement when it is washed and I can blow dry it myself. I hate it, almost crying this morning, husband not supportive, he pays £8 for short back and sides, and doesn't understand my anguish LOL Joy

Getting mine cut tomorrow, Monday pm, as a model again, will only be £5.50 and the last cut was the best I had had for months, not usually disappointed with any of the students cuts tho. Would have to grow my hair long and let it straggle if I couldn't get it done as a model tho, never have £40 to spare for things like haircuts. Liz

I have the same!....paid 40 quid for it too! I neally fell over....Looked like a pudding basin hair cut! Left it for a week and went to usual hairdresser..........It's short but a much nicer shape now....that was another 20 quid. £60 for a hair cut! ugh! I remember me Mum giving me a tanner to get it cut! lol...(that was 1/- old money or 5p nowadays)...I think....lol Gotta go to the dentist in the morning...now theres another rip off merchant!....The cat needs to be 'done' at the vets...I dread to think..... Gerri x Ps...Cariad ...you look lovely to us on here.

Went to hairdressers today. had my hair coloured and cut. I love the colour, but the cut (ouch) it looks like a rat gnawed it, I wanted something like Judy finnegan sort of feathery, or flicked out, but it looks more like the one in the programme 'my family ' (i think Zoe Wannermaker) anyway I don't like it. Hope it grows quickly, sob sob.
