Hi, Did anyone watch The Royal tonight? I recognised one of the guest actors tonight, but can't place where I have seen him before, and don't know his name either. Its the gardner/boyfriend of the posh lady who had the stroke (I know that actress was in a comedy years ago with Micheal Elphick) It's bugging me who this actor is and which programme I have seen him in before. Anyone know? Jan

Hi Em Thanks for telling me who he is! Now I know where I've seen him before! It's interesting to see what he looks like all these years later - though obviously you can still tell its him. Jan

Just looked on goggle and yes, he is Kenneth Cope. Didnt know he was in Brookside playing Ray Hilton, but I watched Brookside, so I must have seen him - just can't remember that character. Oh, think it is coming back to me now - wasnt he engaged to someone on Brookside, but can't remember who? Jan

Poirot

Poirot Report 23 Apr 2007 14:07

If I remember rightly, Kenneth Cope was in Coronation Street many years ago as Minnie Caldwell's lodger. She had a black Cat named Bobby, she used to sit in the snug in the Rovers with Martha Longhurst and Ena Sharples who was played by Violet Carson. She also was the pianist on 'Have A Go' with Wilfred Pickles.
