Hi Sharon,No It is not normal! These people are sending out such bad messages to young women! Some people are by nature thin but Ive never met anyone whos naturally 0 or 00 without them having a health problem. Women by nature have more fat than men,they have this for a reason,I get so angry at these people that send out these messages to our young women. Waffer thin is not attractive and it certainly is not healthy if you have to starve yourself!! |

Rox I have to agree with you thats it's wrong of them especially to publish it's the new in size. I do know some-one who could fit that naturallly (and she moans that there is no grown up clothes for her), but she is a rare one not an average,and only 5'1' although I'm not sure she is a 00 poss a sz 4. At least here they have banned over thin models off the cat walks at shows. Jac |

i wouldn`t think there are many naturally size 00 people, i think it`s disgusting(that might be cos i wasn`t even a size 00 when i was born lol) but that size cannot be normal??? sharon |

The fashion industry has introduced size 00 clothes to cater for people who find controversial size zero garments too big. American fashion house Banana Republic - owned by clothing giant Gap - is already selling size 00 clothes from its spring collection on its website. Shocking pictures of skinny Marianne, the wannabe model It expects high demand for the tiny size, described as being adequate for a waist 'the size of a child's small football'. Reality TV star Nicole Richie, who recently denied claims that she was suffering from an eating disorder, is said to be a size 00. But a spokeswoman for the Nicole Miller label, which also makes 00 clothes, said its 'subzero' items were not designed for anorexics. 'We've introduced this new size for naturally petite women, not for models who have dieted themselves down to a dangerously low height-to-weight ratio,' she said. |
