have you been in touch with the borthwick institue at York university. I went there earlier this year to do some searching and found the staff most helpful and they have loads of archive material. Unfortunately none relating to mine as mine were from Halifax area which is the other side of Yorkshire. I am sure an e-mail to them would produce something of interest.
