Hi Carol I think the police are bound by law to investigate any crime reported to them, I would contact the police and the manager and keep ringing until you get some answers Ann x |

Sorry to hear that. My son had a similar experience at Alton Towers whe he and three friends had everything stolen whilst they were on a bare knuckle ride, money cards, phones keys even their glasses. Again no responsibility, owners risk etc. We got nearly £500 from the house insurance, including new locks to the house because the keys were stolen. His phone was supposed to be covered by separate insurance but they wouldn't pay up as is was 'unattended' at the time it was stolen. If you are going to claim on insurance you need to report it to the police immediately. They won't actually do anything, other than take down the details and issue you with an incident no, which you will need to give to the Insurance Co. Where was the key whilst they were in the pool? |

Dawns right Carol, this is a criminal offence . Call the police. No one else should have access to these lockers exept the management. x Kim |

Hi Dawn, was going to do that, but the police seem to be so disinterested in minor things that it puts me off. I am going to ring the pool as soon as it opens tomorrow. In the meantime, I was going to ring Orange and report it stolen so they could block it. Do you know, if it does get returned (very unlikely I know!!) would Orange then unblock it again? Best wishes Carol x |

why not ring the police station and ask their advice as you say it sounds odd that on two occasions stuff has gone missing |

Every Saturday, after football, my 11 year old son and a group of his friends go swimming at the local Council run swimming pool. They always pay for a locker to put their stuff in. Luke has just come home, upset that his phone, his money, and his friends money is missing from the locked locker. It is very suspicious as 2 weeks before, another friend of Luke's had his mobile phone stolen from the same locked locker. I think this is a bit too much of a coincidence and that someone has got a copy of the locker key. I have tried ringing to speak to the Manager, but the pool is now closed - I will be trying again as soon as they open. I know the pool has signs up saying that they are not responsible for items stolen, but surely they are if they are in a locker!! Just feel really sorry for him as he loves his phone and stores all his music on it. If I caught the **********ds I would make them sorry!! Carol x |
