I've had it with the naughty boy over the back fence. Around christmas time, we started finding sand in our pool each morning and because we don't have a sand filter on the pool, it would take ages to clean. The chlorinator ended up breaking down and we had to replace it. When I eventually looked over the back fence, I could see a child's sandpit. We ended up catching the twelve year old boy tossing handfuls of sand into our pool and we roused on him and told his mum...Well, it's started again and I've had enough. Any suggestions on what to say to his parents, keeping in mind I have to live behind them? |

Suggest that the little blighter come and clean the pool and then advise him and the parents that when it happens again you will have to report it to the police and he can be charged with malicious damage! |

Deb, as youve left it a bit late to give them the bill now, just a word, or a note if they are unapproachable, saying how much it cost to repair, etc, and that if he does it again, then they will be receiving the next bill.... might put the frightners on him.... Clare |

Some really good advice so far. I know what I'd like to do to him but I'd probably be charged for it...lol The chlorinator cost a bomb, and at christmas time too!!!....but I've probably left it too late to ask them to pay us for it. Deb:( |
