Evening, Friends of ours went to a funeral a couple of days ago. They arrived late and had to stand at the back of the room in the crematorium for the service. She began to feel uneasy when she didn't recognise anyone and her fears were realised when the minister said the deceased name. It was a Mr and the funeral they should have been at was a Mrs whose funeral was taking place in another part of the building. She said she was mortified with the mistake but then started to shake with laughter and thankfully when the tears started running down her cheeks everyone thought she was grief stricken. From a purely selfish point of view, I am so relieved to know that these sort of things do happen to other people and not just me! Aileen xxx |
