Do any of you have rules ie if you haven't worn anything for 6 months do you discard. Also if something is a wee bit small (obviously shrunk in wash) do you keep in hope you fit into it again or are you ruhtless? Kaz :o)) about to have a major clear out and am by nature a hoarder!!

Sorry Kaz, I'm probably worse than you. However, I'd say 6 months is a little ruthless as surely you would need different clothes for different seasons and you may find that you've thrown out all your summer clothes using those rules?

I've heard it said that if you haven't worn it for 2 years then the chances are you never will again....so get rid!!! Lucy x

Another rule I have heard is ............ Each time you buy something new - get rid of something! Alas not a rule I am capable of following lol I am a terrible hoarder and I have great trouble discarding anything - much to my groaning wardrobes (plural) dismay LOL

Yes Anne my wardrobe is groaning too! It has to be done but think you're right Lesley 6 months too ruthless. I am going to be bold and get rid (lololol) !!!! (Last time I said that I never got rid of anything) But if I haven't got much left to wear I will have to go shopping oh yaaay! Kaz :o)))) Plus I tend to say - ah I wore that for so and so's wedding and oooh it might come back into fashion

It must be something in the air Kaz. I started clearing out cupboards, drawers and the loft 2 weeks ago. Not just clothes though, everything:)) I wonder if this time I shall be able to persuade myself to part with a gorgeous, size 10, sundress, that I shall obviously never fit into again:)) Chrissie xx

I am dreadful, never get rid of a thing and have clothes going back years, and years, and years lol Will try to follow your good examples and get rid of a few. Isn't it a shame we can't bring all our outgrown stuff to one big meet and swap things with one another. Could all go home with new things that fitted now! Liz
