I getting desperate now !!!! some one out there must now who or were he lived before 1889. he married a Ada Andrews at St Andrews church east Hagbourne berkshire england.1889 done all the usual stuff search poll books/ census and the rest after he got married he moved to Reading berkshire england and was a cattle dealer. from the day of his marriage he was always known as charles. and all records for him buying a house/ death cert.show charles henry smith. I am positive he is my grandfather because his children was of course were my aunts and uncle yes he had a sone charles henry smith and yes his father was a charles smith alive at time of marriage. I was close to my aunts as we lived in Reading all our lives what doesnt help is he was 23 on his marriage cert but 69 on his death cert 1929. he was my grandfather. HELP!!!!! |

Although he married in Hagbourne, do you know if he was born local to that area? Have you checked Wales & Scotland census too? |
