Wish I could be there to see the kilted ones arrival at the meet. But alas too far to travel. Hope it all goes well and everyone enjoys (I am sure we will all soon be reading about it on here). I would like to donate to the charity benefiting from the kilted ones endevours (please could someone pm me to tell me how to get a cheque to the right person). Joy |

Hi Joy. Thanks for your offer of a donation, even though you cannot join us all at Liverpool. All pennies go directly to Cancer research UK. Via the Official Registered Charity 'The pink Fund' set up by Pink Diana and the late Gaynor Fear, a long standing member of GR. Gaynor Bear was named after Gaynor Fear. The Gaynor Bear Relay started not quite two years ago, on St George's Day April 23rd 2005, at my Geordie Meet in Newcastle upon Tyne. I do like to keep a ' tally' on what the GB Relay has actually raised, I always put on the back of cheques recieved 'The Gaynor Bear Relay' so Diana knows who's raised what. Although not used much now, I do have a MSN Website with loads of photographs of GB doing her stuff. They are wonderful photo's. Just Google ' The Gaynor Bear Relay' and look for MSN Groups. Any donations no matter how small, will be acknowledged when recieved, on this site, although I never say how much. PM me for my address. Jenny x |
