Hope your daughter is feeling a bit better Lisa I had Quinsies about 10 years ago after another bout of Glandular fever, I have never ever felt as ill. I slept for days and couldn't eat, drink or hardly breathe. They wanted to take me into hospital to have them removed but the anitbiotics kicked in, thankgod Sending (((((hugs))))

Yes I had it a couple of years ago was given antibiotics but they didn't help as in allergic to penicillin. It got so bad I could hardly breathe and was admitted to hospital. It's not a nice illness at all keep onto the doctor until you get some proper care for her. (((((((((hugs to you both)))))))))) Jax xx

For many years, Lisa. Eventually had tonsils removed when I was 21 but that just means the infection goes further, I suppose. I 'lost' 4 days one time because of a quinsy throat. If the anti-biotics have worked she should be okay for a while. It's totally different from tonsillitis.
