Just spoken to m-i-l, her dad is comfortable but is getting very drowsy. Drip and oxygen were withdrawn on Thursday and the palliative care team have put morphine and anti-nausea drugs on standby. He is awake enough to hear m-i-l talking and when asked if he was in pain was able to shake his head 'no'. It sounds as if he will just fall gently to sleep over the next couple of days. Hello lovely people. Ronald is still hanging on although he is in a very bad way. Don't really know how he can still be here after 5 days of no fluids. Am hoping it will soon be over so he can be at peace. M-i-l thanks you all very much for your thoughts and prayers. Maz. XX |
