I think, if it can be proven that the pallet was deliberately placed to trip some-one, then it may be they can be sued but hopefully those in authority will see sense and tell him where to go. Tricia

Sorry, I think someone who is injured while trespassing can sue for negligence and damages. Mad world we live in isn't it? that is why you should have personal liability insurance, especially if you run a business. Ann Glos

I don't know...they seem to sue in America for things like that. She should be able to counter sue for emotiional distress. Things are getting worse,

some friends of ours have a smallholding,last week someone broke into there farmyard ,and tried to nick the mini digger. he fell over a pallet and broke his leg, and although arrested,says hes gonna sue. tell me this is,nt poss.shes just been in tears to me on the phone. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
