I too have found this Pat and considered contacting the tree owners. Then had second thoughts because they probably don't want the bother of checking the data. If they did they would already have verified their information. As you say you should check, check and check again. Beryl x

You have a very good point there, Pat. :-) One of my contacts has given me access to her tree, which is great, but unfortunately I feel that I can't take a lot of the info as it's copied word for word from the LDS site - not the microfilm entries, but the submissions from other members. You know the ones, that haven't been verified. x

I have just been on to Rootsweb family tree and there are 9 trees all with the same details and the facts are totally wrong. I know this as I have the BMD's and census details for this family ( my ancestors). So as many members on here have said before CHECK, CHECK AND CHECK AGAIN. It is all to easy to copy believing the person giving the info has already checked and confirmed. Good hunting Pat
