Did anyone see the Airship which is the size of a 747 jumbo jet flying over London, Kent and then across the Cliffs of Dover yesterday towards France? From there it is flying over Italy and Egypt to Dubai to mark the first residents moving into the Palm Jumeirah – a man made island, which can be seen from space. The Spirit of Dubai can stay in the air without refueling for more than 24hrs and is 216ft long and 72ft high. By all accounts it was a fantastic sight to see. |
