Yes, Carol, he does. I couldn't help but smile when I saw his comment, given that the subject was being discussed earlier. He wasn't intending to be hurtful though, so I took things in the spirit in which they were clearly meant. It's been an interesting evening. :-)

They're an Eastern European thing. They look a bit like a spring roll from the chinese restaurant when they're finished, but they can be bite-sized or 'need-a-knife-and-fork'-sized and they're made from filo pastry with a filing of a ground beef and spices mixture or a 4-cheese mixture. They're very tasty, but time-consuming and fiddly to make so I only get them on special occasions.

What are they?

I don't think I've ever seen Ostin use a recipe, except for the first time he made boureks.

I'm not so bad myself Felicity, thats why I do most of the cooking lol and I enjoy it.

'A man who loves cooking is a gem to be treasured.' And one who'll just do it anyway is a double gem. My husband cooks more than I do too, and very good he is at it.

Felicity, I cook more than cook does lol Actually we share -- whoever is home first -and if we cant be arsed we eat out! Its a democracy here in this house - she says - I jump lol Democracy is I do ask How high? :)))

What is wisdom but the ability to discern what is true, right and lasting - and it's true that it's not worth arguing with the provider of food unless you want to go hungry (or get it yourself, of course)!! :-)
