Can someone settle an argument re Elvis??

It was the Jordinaires and then later he had ( i think they were called ) the Sweet Inspirations

It was defo The Jordanaires and yes he always dyed his hair, as his own was a mousy colour. The Rubettes were a british group who wore white suits and red or white beret type hats. Sunny R

D.J. Fontana D.J. Fontana was Elvis' drummer on stage 1955-61 and in recording sessions from 1956 through much of the 1960s. He also performed in Elvis' television guest appearances 1956-60, in several of his movies and in Elvis' 1968 television special. The Imperials The Imperials were among the vocalists who worked with Elvis on his How Great Thou Art album in 1966. They also backed him on stage from 1969 to late 1971 and did backing vocals for his Grammy-winning gospel album He Touched Me and other studio recordings and live concert recordings during that period. There were personnel changes within the group over the years. The members known for performing on stage with Elvis are Terry Blackwood, Greg Gordon, Armond Morales, Joe Moscheo, Jim Murray and Roger Wiles. Sherman Andrus began work with The Imperials after their time with Elvis, but joined in with the group's ongoing friendship with him. As of 2005, there is an active Imperials group with Sherman Andrus, Terry Blackwood, Gus Gaches and Joe Moscheo. The Jordanaires The Jordanaires were Elvis' primary male back-up vocal group from 1956 to the end of the 1960s. They worked with Elvis in the recording studio, on stage and in his movies. Visit their official web site to learn more. Scotty Moore Scotty Moore was Elvis' lead guitarist on stage 1954-61 and in the studio from Elvis' first recordings in 1954 through much of the 1960s. In 2000, he was among the first group of musicians inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their new 'sidemen' category. J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet were Elvis' male backing vocal group from 1971 to 1977. The late Mr. Sumner's family maintains the only official web site about this legendary gospel bass singer. Ed Enoch and Ed Hill, longtime members of J.D.'s group, along with new members, tour with today's configuration of The Stamps Quartet. . Regarding his natural hair colour he was Dark Blonde If you watch the movie Kissing Cousins where he played two rolls you will see Elvis as he really looked the natural Dark Blonde this is the only movie he made that you see him as he really was Paul
