Yes, i've been involved in a HUGE Seance. (About 200 people) It wasn't scarey, until me and the guy next to me, saw a shadow go across the room, very quickly, it was shaped like an old hag. :-s Derek Acorah & Yvette Fielding were a few spaces up from me. :-)

I don't think they have that many around these days? At my circle next week we are going to do things with a planchette and try to move tables. Not done it before. Getting quite excited. The medium in charge says it freaks some people out. Well it would have me in the past but I'm very curious now.

I thought they would be quite small affairs Paul so you could concentrate the energies. Sounds interesting though.

Hello Louise, I went to a weekend which culminated in table tilting and what may be a planchette....letters in a circle with a glass guided by spirits... Interesting and iI watched the table spin about the room but still curious....when it was my turn to put my hands on the table I did try to find out how it works and tried to push it back down but couldn't No idea what was happening or what forces or trickery was at work. Ther whole evening was pleasant an unintimidating.....no chance of being scared, it was a friendly atmosphere

Hi Louise , how are you? :-) No I haven't. I don't think I would either. I'd be too scared or I'd be too suspicious.

No, I haven't and I don't think I could. Had a terrible experience mucking around with one of those whatsit boards when I was about 19. Went to a party and someone suggested doing it. We took it as a laugh until the chap whose party it was went pure white. We got someone coming thru and it turned out to be his uncle who had been murdered. None of us knew anything about it. Just then his mum arrived home and didn't half lay into us all for fooling around with things we knew nothing about. Turned out she was a medium and a pretty good one by all accounts. Aileen xxxx

Depends what you mean by 'a proper seance'. Go to a Spiritualist Church - there's absolutely nothing to be frightened of. It doesn't involve moving tables and all that jazz if it's genuine. I don't go regularly but have been impressed by what I've been told at 2 different churches 200 miles and about 20 years apart. Every one was spot on although about different people - and I didn't give any clues.
