I have just filled my forms in to become a Volunteer at the schools. For children that have learning difficulties. It's a one on one programme where retired people go into the schools and help in areas that the children have problems with. i.e Reading etc. Probably won't be doing it until next year as they break up for summer holidays in a couple of weeks. Does anyone else do this Programme at all?. I am quite looking forward to it. Of course you have to have police clearance because you are dealing with children. Can't be too careful these days. I have had a lot of contact with childen in the past . My sister had a Talent school for 12 years which I helped her with. 100 Little ANKELBITERS aged between 5 and 16 and I loved them all to bits they give you so much pleasure seeing them improve from year to year. Regards Jackie
