Only the 2 of us!! My manager is younger than my daughter so, we can't agree on where to have our Works Christmas Do. I think I might stand out a tiny bit if she insists on going Clubbing! |

ours are asked but mine never goes. As you say you can have a better laugh without them. Tend to keep workmates seperate from social life anyway. |

we go to gunwharf as get extra portions as we know most of the workers on site and get a good discount meal is £15.00 three course plus a disco included xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(((: |

the first year I went with the lot I work with now was rather strange I thought. Normally the manageress of a firm would buy at least one drink each or some sort of small pressie to say thanks for all your hard work but not this one. The assistant manager bought everybody a drink. Must have cost him quite a bit. Wasnt until after I found out that the manageress gets a christmas bonus depending on how well the shop does throughout the year, so she is relying on her staff. Well blow me down if she didnt get £200........and she never even bought a bottle of wine to share at the meal. How mean is that. Think its the first place I have worked where I never had anything from the boss. |
