ok need help re gameboy

My son has a nintendo DS and all the gameboy games work on it,I think thatits the same with the GB advance, any gameboy games will work on it, although the graphics wont be as good. |

Laddo wants one for chrimbo and knows it will be secondhand but he doesnt care as means he can have a school trip to france as well. Have now got him a Gameboy advance SP (Bargain) question is do I have to get Advance SP games or do other Gameboy ones work with it????????? |
