The politest way would be to send them a nice message asking them to open their tree to you. This way you can explain why you'd like to see there tree. The other way is to go to the contact list and click 'No - Ask them' and it will send an automated message - Please would you give me access to view your tree, Thank You . When they give you access you can see it in the same way you see your own |

You need to send them a PM and ask. They will then (hopefully) give you access to their tree. I think you can also request it via the emails you sometimes get from GR. It takes you into a screen where it says request tree or something like that. |

Hi Nicki Go to your list of contacts (click on 'messages' near the top of left hand green panel). Scroll to the persons name and there's a column headed something like 'can you see their tree?'. Click on the bit that says 'no - ask them' and it sends a request message. Hope this helps, Mandy :) |

Do you know, I just read my own reply and thought 'oh heck, I've just given her instructions on how to send one of those awful automated messages' LOL! Follow Lunar's instructions, they're much better! Mandy :)) |
