Hi Kim, The AVG attachment on OE e-mails lets both the sender and receiver of the e-mail know that it has been scanned for any viruses as it was sent. If the addressee also has AVG installed the e-mail will be scanned again. All good for security of your PC. Regards Graham

Hi Do you mean outgoing or incoming e-mail? AVG will actually scan the incoming and tell you so on the bottom of the e-mail, dont know about an actual attachment though, never seen that. Keith

Hi Kim My OE emails just get scanned when incoming - haven't noticed that any have attachments other than what has been sent. Sorry can't be of more help x

I downloaded Free AVg, but now every email via OE has an attachment, is it because it has been scanned by AVg, never had this with Norton or Mcafee. Thanks for any advice. Kim
