So many lovely areas I've still to discover but for the happy memories, I'll vote for an area of South Wales. I'll share a glimpse with you here http://www.hartill.net/Beach/Pages/p0000157.html Gwyn

It must be obvious that I love NZ. No place like home. But I would love to return to England to meet the many relatives I have discovered over the past 3 or 4 yrs.

Dee, you will have to come to New Zealand. Lots of lovely beaches. And the waterfalls are much higher than the 'highest' one we visited in England. And we have active volcanoes. And high mountains.

I toured around England in a campervan in 1997. Didnt get to Scotland, Wales or Ireland. I think I liked Yorkshire best, although there were lots of interesting things everywhere, like my ancestral villages. And ancient ruins and old bridges of different types.

Have been to many places from the Highlands to Lands End . Such diverse landscapes and customs/ folk lore. Variety of accents, historic buildings and landmarks. If is wasn't for our weather none of us would need to go abroard. At least we get no regular freak weather conditions such as hurricanes (sp?). tsunamis (even more sp?) or earthquakes. We are very lucky. Libby xx

Well, my home county of Cornwall of course. But I am very fond of Wales, especially around Brecon and Abergavenny. Another favourite place is Lindisfarne (Holy Island). A long way from home for me, but we have visited it twice. Also York and the surrounding area hold an attraction as that is where OH's ancestors come from. We hope to go up there next Easter if possible. Happy days :-) PP xx

WALES! *did I say that out loud?* Lovely and diverse, from dolphin filed coves to trains, large inland lakes to sandy beaches, stunning ountryside to bustling cities - I love it! Love the HEPP (hydro electric power plant) and CAT (Centre for Alternative Technology) the best, both are so well intergrated into the beutiful landscape that you don't even know they are there until your told and even then it's hard to believe!
