thanks sue i got it today as not responding to other asthma thingies had it for 30 years , must say i used it and felt some relife straight away, if you dont mind me asking did you get any side affects x lorraine |

LOL did you see the thread in which I posted? that I had inadvertently SWALLOWED the capsule? I am still here so I guess no lasting damage was done....... reading the instructions, unlike other meds which give explicit answers if you use it wrongly, Spiriva Merely says that it shouldnt be taken orally(swallowed),no suggestions of remedial action...... felt a little giddy the first few times, but I put THAT down to having to actually draw in the powder, rather than have it blown in........ lol bob when the chemist gave me the capsuals there was no device in the packet , so i went back in extremly breathless and asked how i was meant to inhale it as trhere was no inhaler she said your gp hasnt put in on form . so i said fine i will swallow them then , she shouted no no you musnt she told me to go back to gp and get another prescription i politley told her something then the nice lady gave me the inhaler thingy , honestly lol. |
