Well I guess the first 6 months were ok, come to think of it great compared to the rest of the year and it's not even over yet. We had a graduation party for my eldest daughter in July, my father-in-law lost his balance and fell. Two days later he was on life support due to a bleed on his brain, the machine was switched of the next day one day before my husbands birthday. Of course my husband took it really bad. Then my grandmother has a bad stroke, me being more than 3,000 miles away feel useless. She's as ok as she's going to be, in a nursing home now as she needs 24 hr care. Next my husbands grandmother dies, ok she was getting on a bit but even though we know that it never really makes you feel any better at the time. Now my 14 year old daughter has a lump in her breast, went to the doctor hoping it was just a cyst. He sent her for an ultra sound and that has come back that she has a 'mass' as they put it. Of course we dont know if it's benign or malignant yet. We have now made an appointment with the sergeon to discuss what my daughters next step is. So I'm asking if you wouldn't mind saying a little prayer and keeping your fingers crossed. Sorry to burden all you nice people but I do feel a little better for getting it all off my chest, trying to keep it all in here as I don't want to worry my daughter when we're not even sure there is anything to worry about yet. Thanks for listening. Fiona. xx |
