While daughter has been hogging the computer I’ve been lugging boxes filled with our unsold items from the last car boot sale upstairs to our smallest bedroom which is a glorified junk room at the moment. Making some space I picked up a black sack with an empty 10ltr tub of white emulsion in it. Oh yes it is empty because the contents are on the carpet, on my golf clubs, a snooker cue case and a feather pillow. Bad enough but I go to pick up the feather pillow and it split wide open because it’s got stuck in dried paint. Reached down to grab it with both hands ended up to the elbows in paint and feathers. Needless to say my daughter was and still is in utter hysterics. She’s phoned up everyone to tell them what I’ve done. Me, it’s that OH of mine. He’s the one who put it in there. He is definitely one joker short in a packet of playing cards! Aileen xx |
