My little lad was just asking about olden days and I told him a story about my Mums sister who died of pneumonia in 1933 aged 3, I explained there was no NHS and you had to have money to pay the doctor. My grandad ran from one end of our town to the other with a shot gun when the doc wouldnt come out, Little lad was in awe of this! caz xxxxxxx |
