That's happened to me in the past; took the front of the filter at the bottom of the machine and found a stray sock was clogging it up..... Problem solved. Let's hope yours is as simple Dawn...

Mine did that a couple of weeks ago - my sister said oh clean the filter it is probably blocked - unscrew the little round thing on front ..............hang on a mo I dont do unscrewing.............anyway have not got a little round thing on front - hubby came home and unscrewed the little thingy on back - well it is a Spanish washing machine - and after pullng a few objects out - hey presto it worked. Gwynn Steve will have to take panel off front when he gets in but its not even spinning did make strange noises last week as well. They are coming on Friday afternoon could do with a good service anyway and as we have paid for it might as well use it.

When our's did that, Dawn it was just the 'out' pipe blocked. Have you got a little trap door thingy on the front of machine so that OH can see if there is a clogged up pipe? ......Have cloths and a large low-sided bowl ( but not too low )ready ! Gwyn

well done a respin and it didnt spin just gonna phone them to come and look at it just then got to wring the washing out

try a respin and have a good smell around the top - if you can smell burning, switch of, unplug and get someone to check the brushes as they are usually graphite in plastic and the plastic can melt. also check the out flow pipe and pump are not blocked

Don't talk to me about washing machines they came with my new one yesterday and took it back again

at least I have cover on mine so can call them out last time they couldnt fix it and I got a new machine. Surprised it let me open door with water in must of thought lets see how wet we can get her

oh shame.. * said very sarcastically becuase ones own washer is broke and having to handwash everything til the weekend when hubby gets home to fix the damn thing* lol

just opened washing machine door and there is still al load of water in it. Just trying to re spin it see if it does it or if its broke
