Lynne It isn't really necessary to post on three boards.........especially as you don't give all the info.........or come back to answer questions. Reg

As far as I'm aware, marriage certificates don't give DOB just age at marriage ( so can sometimes be incorrect) You need to trawl through each quarter of the births for the estimated year of Grandad's birth hun. Hopefully yuouu have an idea of where he was born or if he has a less common surname that helps. You can access the births / marriages & deaths here: http://www.ancestry*co*uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx Obviously change the * for a . XXX Sioux

Lynne.. This really needs to be on the other boards to get a better response.... WHen was the marriage ?.....MC don't give a date of birth but it should give their ages. If you add a few details Names etc....then perhaps we can help... Esta x
