Anne..i was in Morrisons with my daughter ..who was 9 today.....and we were told over the tannoy that they would have 2 minutes silence at 11........we stopped........as did all the till staff and shoppers alike........and this woman....probably aged early 40's and her son who was 7 or 8 just kept walking around and talking and just cudnt see the fact that everyone else had stopped what they were doing and were standing still in silence. I dunno if she was just not getting it....or had no respect whatsoever. At least Lily and I did our bit.........then had a lenghty conversation about it afterwards......cus she wasnt sure what it was all about...bless her. Nick |

We had the radio on at work and when it hit 11 o clock and went radiosilent, everyone stopped shopping and stood still. Great moment to know that people still have respect. There were still a lot of people outside walking around, but there was no reminder for them so I'm okay with it. |
