What shire is Birmingham in?

Just to confuse matters, there's a racecourse in Startofd-Upon-Avon, which is near Tysoe. To answer the original question, when doing lookups Birmingham was in Warwickshire, but also parts of what are now Birmingham were in Staffordshire.

Ros don't have the faintest where Tysoe was/is but Warwickshire google for maps to find it

Conclusion -it was Warwickshire -so it would be in 1891! Greatgrandmother lived in Tysoe and I wondered how far it was from Birmingham, Ros

Birmingham, Coventry & Wolverhampton have all been in the WEST MIDLANDS since 1974. Birmingham used to be in Warwickshire XXX Sioux

Think u got got answered there no track in Birmingham Warwick the best known of warwickshire tracks but there are more small ones
