Only once Baz,,I lost count but was on a very regualr basis,plus the edge of a ruler across the back of hands, Now days I find my behaviour back then appalling, Kay. |

So glad I'm not alone Baz, I got bashed once by Mother Superior for shouting in the playground and again by Sister Mary something (forgotten..it was a life-time ago) for not being able to read the word Gigantic...I was only 7. LOL Tina x |

I remember when I was at infant school a boy called Roy getting the slipper in front of the whole class for being cheeky to the teacher. We all watched in horror. It felt quite scary at the time! I decided that I was going to be a good girl as there was no way I wanted the shame of having the slipper! |

When you think back to our school days the teachers would be add up for abuse.It did teach us though.I got the ruler many a time for talking.Never got sent home though like they do today.Annie |
