My mother wants me to install a new mouse on her PC, so she gave me the mouse, and the installation disk. Thing is, her PC doesn't have a disk drive, yet sshe can't see why it can't be installed! GRRR! I give up!

Got a burner Paul? You could always burn the contents of the floppy onto a CD and install it from there instead.... failing that Google for the driver and download it from the net. XX Sioux

It's possible the new mouse will work without recourse to the CD. I bought a new mouse for my old PC which didn't have disc drive so just connected the mouse up and it worked with zero problems Ron

Paul If you have Win XP you don't need a driver disk, it will recognise any new hardware. Lynne
