I don't think it is possible if you enter the names manually, more likely to have been in an uploaded gedcom. I was under the impression that living relations names still appeared in the indexes, it was just that they showed as 'living' when you viewed someones tree.

Just received - why bother ?? shows a tree with lots of unnamed people born about 1890 Living Relations !!
