GEDCOM Transfer Problems

Carol Report 9 Nov 2006 16:28

Hi All I have today uploaded a GEDCOM file into GR but when I look at my tree in the new format, all the dates have changed into an unrecognised format and some dates are repeated throughout several generations. When I view my tree on the old viewer, everything is right. Has anybody else experienced this problem and can somebody please tell me if it is something that I am doing wrong or is it a bug in the new system. Thanks Carol

Hi Carol You are not the only one, the majority of users are having some problems with the new tree. Mine has no marriage information and most of the deaths are the same date!! The only consulation I have is that my main tree is on my own software. Hopfully they will sort it soon, they are having plenty of complaints at the moment. Jackie
