Cross channel ferries

Does anyone know how early you have to check in for cross channel ferries??? Also don't suppose anyone knows of any promotional codes for P & O ferries???

Check in time is latest 30mins before departure for cars etc, 45 mins for foot passengers WE always get to the port at least a couple of hours early cos there will be queues.once checked in you can leave the car and go to the cafes etc that are usually there

Shirley Thanks not sure about getting there a couple of hours early as we're planning to be on the 8 am sailing. And we've got a decent drive to Dover beforehand, will also have to prise the kids from their beds as well. Jacqui, haven't seen any promos on the site. Will keep looking xxxxx

Shellie, if you work it to be there about an hour before, if there are any hold ups you should still make it in time, thats what I always do, enjoy your trip. Bev
