I was called after the hazel nuts , but this is what my family say ! nuts whole hazel nuts cadburys make em and they cover them in chocolate.

My mam liked the names Rachel and Rebecca, dad didn't like rebecca Dad wanted Elizabeth Ann but mum put her food down and said no daughter of her would have the first name Elizabeth because 2 of her cousins were elizabeth and neither has her own identity they comprimised with Rachel Elizabeth! unbeknown to them at the time dad's grandmothers were Rachel and Elizabeth. My brother got himself named after a orcestral conducter and my Dad

Ok this is not my name I was just called after my aunt. Thought i would let you know where I got my childrens names from. 1. Jacqueline from Jacqueline Kennedy American presidents wife. 2. Michelle from Beatles song. 3. Sean from Sean Connery. Betty p.s. they all have middle names too.

My Grandfather choose my name,He died before I was born. the story goes that he was In the Middle east he heard the name and liked it,so here I amlol:-))

I was named after my Dad's mate.... not that exciting. lol My mum, (Zena) was named after a princess warrior, or vice versa according to her. (She was named after someone in a magazine really, lol)

i asked my mum this the other day , she said it was a popular name in the 60s but our middle names have meanings like the time we were born ie; dawn and eve .

I was named after my Dad (John- Jacques being the French version) when he realised that there would be no boy to carry on the name

How did you get your ( Alright please don,t say Mum and Dad Did!) I suspect not sure think mine was after a perfume in the 1940,s.. June.
